The luxury\u00a0Fairmont Hotel<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0is one of the many hotels in USA\u2019s capital that were renovated in anticipation of January\u2019s inauguration. The 413 room hotel underwent a $27 million two-part renovation. Phase one of the refurbishment involved re-doing all the guest rooms including those on the Fairmont Gold Floor. The executive forum amphitheater was converted into the 2,900 square-foot Kennedy Ballroom.\u00a0 The room can accommodate 300 people.\u00a0New York-based Wimberly Interiors was in charge of the renovation. Guestrooms no longer have typical desks. Instead, the king-bedded rooms have a chaise and a round table that doubles as a dining spot or a flexible working space.\u00a0\u00a0There are now seven specialty suites rather than five.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
